I find myself reflecting on the content I’ve created in 47 blogs this year and the impact it has had.
This one is the number 48 blog article in 2024.
Of course, some posts resonate more than others, sparking conversations, driving traffic, and even inspiring change.
This year was no different.
As I look through the analytics and reader feedback, one question stands out: which of my blogs made the biggest splash this year?
In this last article of 2024, I’ll take you on a journey exploring what made them stand out and why they captured the attention of my blog and newsletter audience.
The true measure of a blog’s success is not just in the numbers but in the impact it has on its readers.
This was the most popular blog in 2024
The title was: 2 ways recruiters try to cheat you.
My question was if we can fairly call them recruiters or would criminals be more appropiate?
I’m not sure what to call them, but whoever they are, they sure give the recruitment profession a bad name.
I know from experience that candidates, even top executives, will share their most private and personal data just because I say: “Hey there, I’m a headhunter.”
More than 10,000 impressions were recorded by LinkedIn – still counting.
NOTE: LinkedIn Impressions show you how many times a post content has appeared on someone’s screen.

This was the most personal story
One of the most successful posts this year was a personal story about my 20-year journey in Thailand’s recruitment market.
That post was powerful because it came from the heart resonating with readers on a personal level.
The title was: My 20 years in Thailand’s recruitment scene
It’s still unreal that it was back in October 2003 that I started my executive search and recruitment career.
There were many people to thank, and I was pleased to finally extend a big hand to my staff, colleagues, personal assistants over the years, researchers, and consultants.
They worked hard to make our brand recognized as among the best in the recruitment and consulting profession.

Should I continue writing in 2025?
Sure. Of course. I have no intention of slowing down.
Remember, these posts didn’t go viral because I’m some kind of career guru.
They hit home because they tackled real issues that candidates, applicants, and hiring companies grapple with daily.
As I look forward to the coming year, I am excited to continue exploring new ways to engage and inspire my audience.
I will continue crafting content that resonates, inspires, and makes a difference through personal stories, insightful analysis, or interactive content.
